In Riga, the creative industry representation and technology representation will continue.

The incubation and pre-incubation program of the new period is planned to be announced in March, but already entrepreneurs have access to support for export promotion, participation in exhibitions and trade missions, digitization, organization of various large-scale events, and other activities.

The main objectives of the pre-incubation programme are to develop a prototype of its product or service, prepare for the commencement of commercialisation thereof and prepare a merchant for participation in the incubation programme by providing specific training in business development, market research, increasing innovations, directing the activities of the undertaking in the direction of sustainable entrepreneurship and increasing the level of technology intensity.

The incubation programme will provide the opportunity to receive co-financing for the purchase of services necessary for business development, for example, accounting, rental of premises, design, marketing, technological consultancy, certification, laboratory costs, purchase of production equipment, equipment and raw materials. Innovative companies will also have access to funding for prototyping and technology development.

Start-ups under the age of five will be able to apply for the incubation program.

Ideation will be offered as a new activity, as a process of brainstorming new business ideas, which can then be implemented through the support capabilities offered by the incubator program.
