Swisscom AG established Swisscom DevOps Center Latvia at the end of 2020 and since then has been growing its operations in Latvia with goals that are set very clearly and latest technologies that we believe are shaping the world of tomorrow.

Swisscom established two DevOps centers in Riga and Rotterdam to serve as partners to ensure services of software development and solutions for Swisscom Switzerland. As Riga is well known as a center of great IT&Tech minds, it seemed like a logical step to expand here.

“The opening of the DevOps Center in Riga is a very balanced and well-thought-out decision for our company. We have set ourselves strategically ambitious goals. We plan to invest up to 20 million euros in three years, but by 2025 we expect to provide 300 highly paid jobs in Riga, 95% of which will be programming engineers.
