Atea Global Services is a part of the Atea group – the leading IT infrastructure provider in Europe’s Nordic and Baltic regions and bringing together more than 7 500 employees across 85 offices in 7 countries. As a part of the Atea group, the Riga office strives to be The Place To Be for employees, customers, and partners by combining technology, creativity, and sustainability.

Atea Global Services was established in 2006 with a team of 20 employees and just three customers to deliver application packaging services. Since then, the company has grown immensely. From Atea Global Services, Riga’s office manages IT Solutions that split into three categories – hybrid platforms, digital workplace, and information management. It includes an IT service desk in 11 different languages, supporting customers in their journey to the cloud, and enabling users to experience the best of a digital workplace. On top of that, Atea Business Service Center delivers classical administrative business process outsourcing services for fields such as finance, procurement, customer care, licensing support, and more.

Atea Global Services believes that its best strength is people. Latvians are smart, passionate, driven, and at the same time, empathetic and caring, which has allowed Atea to be where they are today.

“There are a lot of things that I am proud of. I am really, really proud of Atea in general and everything we do to build the future with IT! And the fact that we have been growing so fast and at the same time improving quality, is incredible! When you look at the organization here in Riga, it has not only been growing with us but also became a foundation for further development of services & solutions.” -Steinar Sønsteby, CEO of Atea ASA.
