Valpro signs the cooperation agreement extension with NSPA

Valpro has signed a one-year cooperation agreement extension with NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), thus becoming the only manufacturer and supplier of cans authorised to supply NATO military forces with military-grade products – metal fuel cans and their accessories.

Valpro has been producing cans for the military segment since 2000, which has resulted in more than 1.5 million cans manufactured and delivered to both military forces of NATO member states and partner countries. The concluded cooperation agreement, which is now extended until the end of August 2024, is available on a special NATO e-procurement web platform that ensures an efficient and rapid response to the military needs of authorised users.

Valpro produces not only 20 l cans, but also 2 l, 5 l and 10 l cans in various colours and specifications, fire extinguisher and other metal product cylinders, and performs gas cylinder inspections.

Valpro is one of the oldest metal processing companies in the Baltics, offering its products in more than 30 countries worldwide. Although the company’s origins date back to 1944, when the Valmiera District industrial plant was established, where fire extinguishers and later also fuel cans were manufactured, 1963 is considered to be the founding year of the factory when the Valmiera Fire Extinguishing Device Plant, as it was then called, was established.
