Unmanned piloting systems for scanning swamps

The Latvian company SPH Engineering develops softwares for unmanned piloting systems, and creates integrated systems with various industrial sensors. They can be used for scanning swamps and creating maps. With these systems it is also possible to measure the amount excavated in quarries and create 3D structures of buildings.

A few years ago, the company’s team took part in an expedition to search for missing planes in Greenland with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles – georadars. Now the company also focuses on geophysical instruments – georadars, magnetometers and metal detectors, which can be useful for both adventure seekers and builders.
