The Turkish investor intends to invest 200 million euros

The Turkish metallurgical company "Aslanlı Metalurji", which is part of the "Epas Group", has currently submitted the best offer in the auction announced by SIA "FeLM" for the possibilities to purchase the "Liepājas Metalurga" electric steel melting complex and real estate.

Representatives of SIA "FeLM" do not provide further detailed comments yet, indicating that, following the current regulations of the tender for the sale of SIA "FeLM" property, the planned schedule for the tender is until May of this year. Taking into account the restrictions of confidentiality, comments on the results of the tender will be provided by SIA "FeLM" after the end of the tender.

The Cabinet of Ministers plan to evaluate the offering of the company soon.

Factory "Aslanlı Metalurji ve Metal Ürünleri San.Tic.AŞ." (ASLANLI) was established in 1992 and is co-owned by Hamdi Alaeddin Eyüboğlu. The company alone currently owns seven steel plants in Turkey and Georgia and is in the final stages of acquiring the Noksel pipe plant in Spain. The total production of the group's metallurgical companies exceeds 700,000 tons per year, the company's representatives say.

Last year, ASLANLI sold its products in 40 countries on three continents around the world. The company's strategy is to constantly invest in development and new production facilities as the product market expands and customer requirements and needs increase. ASLANLI's core business is the distribution of steel and wire production.
