Novira Capital has started to construct a new Class A business centre in Riga city centre, and the total investment will exceed 55 million euros. Novira Plaza will be completed by June 2023, according to the company's representatives.
"This is the central point of Riga, the importance of which will be significantly increased by the new central railway station, which is an investment worth 450 million euros. We believe in this place and will promote its development," representative Arle Mölder is convinced of the new project success.
Novira Plaza will be a sustainable Class A office building designed according to LEED golden standards. Modern technical solutions will be used in the development of office premises, ensuring flexible premises design. The building will be energy efficient, will have several green areas and developed infrastructure suitable for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers. The first floor will house retail space and restaurants, while the two underground floors will park about 200 cars, which is an important factor in the city centre.
"There is a limited supply of modern office buildings in the centre of Riga. Almost all of the centre's offices are located in renovated apartment buildings, while the newly built offices are mostly outside the city centre. Therefore, we see great potential in this project, which will have restaurants and central railway station nearby and, of course, the Old Town is just a short walk away, "adds Molders.
A team of well-known and experienced professionals from Latvia and Estonia is developing the design. The architects are Dace Putniņa and Andris Kalinka from the architectural firm "BB studio", while the Estonian architect Meelis Press has been chosen to develop the interior design.
Novira Capital is one of the leading real estate developers in Estonia, which has developed several new projects in recent years, including four large office buildings in the centre of Tallinn and more than 300 high-class apartments.
