Large business center in Riga is being built in Skanste

The construction of the green concept office complex “Verde” has started in Skanste district, Riga, informs the project developer Capitalica Asset Management.

“Verde” will be one of the largest business centers in the capital of Latvia - its area with underground parking will reach 45 thousand square meters. The amount of investment will reach more than 65 million euros in two years.

International sustainability experts, when evaluating the complex at the design stage, have awarded the building with the BREEAM “Excellent” certificate, which confirms that “Verde” will be built in accordance with the highest sustainability standards. Innovative engineering systems will be integrated in the buildings: adjustable floors, a modern cooling system.

Green terraces will be installed on the fifth floor in both buildings of the complex. The building will use renewable energy sources that meet the high requirements of modern buildings, the complex will meet the almost zero energy building standard.
