Laima's new plant in Ādaži has been put into operation

“Laima” new plant, which is located in Ādaži, has been put into operation. Investments put into the plant and further development of the brand, reach 20 mln euro. 

The plant consists of five buildings – two storey building with several buildings for technical purposes. The total area of the plant is 7 820m2. 
“Laima” assortment currently consists of more than 200 different chocolate sweets, moreover, “Laima” Latvian team continues to develop and improve the range of products, working on innovative recipes that are created here in Latvia. The new “Laima” production plant in Ādaži will have a modern product development laboratory, which will allow developing and improving new “Laima” products.

On April 17, 2019, the management of “Orkla Latvija” signed an agreement with the construction company “Merks” on the construction of "Laima" new production plant in Ādaži. Construction began on April 24, 2019 and was completed and commissioned on March 16, 2020.
